ROM Visitor Research Project

Royal Ontario Museum

Kayla Droog

Kayla conducted a visitor research project at the Royal Ontario Museum that was designed to assess visitor mobile use at the museum. This research asked questions such as whether visitors currently use their mobile devices to enhance their museum visits, are they interested in doing so in the future, what types of content they are interested in accessing, and are they interested in accessing content from home before or after their visit.

This research sought to complement and inform some of the ROM’s current projects that are developing mobile content for visitors. Assessing visitor mobile use at the museum
